Mentors Don't Need You

Here are the 5 stages of mastery you’ll go through on the road to success:
1️⃣ Uninformed Optimism: You’re excited and full of energy, unaware of the real challenges ahead.
2️⃣ Informed Pessimism: Reality hits. The struggles become real, and doubt creeps in.
3️⃣ Valley of Despair: The hardest stage. You feel stuck and question if it’s even worth it. Many quit here.
4️⃣ Informed Optimism: You start seeing progress. You’re getting better and handling challenges with confidence.
5️⃣ Success & Fulfillment: You achieve what once felt impossible. Others admire you but don’t see the struggle behind your success.
Every successful person has gone through these stages, including me.
The biggest filter is The Valley of Despair.
This is where most people quit, but those who push through come out winners.
So how do you shorten this painful learning curve?
Get a mentor.
A mentor has already walked the path and made the mistakes, so you don’t have to. You can get one in two ways:
✔ Serve them (offer value in exchange for mentorship—this takes time).
✔ Pay them (invest in their course or coaching to get direct guidance).
